Confidence is the sexiest feature on anyone

My husband and myself
We were married on May 5, 2007. I started dating Quinten at the end of my freshman year. We dated for five years (to the day) when we were married. I cut my hair the day after the wedding. :) It was a terrific feeling.

Our home!
We started looking for our first house towards the beginning of November of 2008, after our apartment was broken into. We put the offer on the house one of the first few days of November and we were broken into for a second time, less than two weeks after the first one. We closed on our house on November 26, 2008. We have a HOME now and it is the most amazing feeling.

Our kids
I have two cats that are wonderful little creatures. They drive me nuts at times but I wouldn't trade them for anything. Loki is the older of the two. She is a Russian Blue/Oriental mix. She found us in January of 2008. She was pawing on our bedroom window at our apartment and howling. She was soaking wet and very thin. She was about 8 months old and only weighted 3 and a half pounds. Moo is the baby. She was found on a golf course and brought to the clinic. She was only 4 or 5 weeks old. After nursing her back to health and after the ringworm was gone, she came to live with us. We adopted her in December of 2008. She is white with tons of black blotches all over her body.

Piercings
I had nine but I just recently took one out. I'm trying to figure out where I'm getting my next one. Five are in my left ear, three are in my right. - Left side. Two lobe piercings, one industrial (it goes from one side to another), and one helix piercing. - Right side. Two lobe piercings and a conch piercing. My next one will either be a rook or a tragus on my right side.

I'm a godmom!
Patrick was born on Monday, August 4, 2008 at 11:00pm. He weighed 6 pounds and 13 ounces and was 20 inches long. He looks just like his daddy. I'm so happy for Tiffany and Steve. Even though Patrick is so tiny, he already has more love than he will ever know what to do with.

Tattoos
I have four. Each one of them has a meaning. If you would like to know what they are, feel free to ask!

December 23, 2003 – A turtle holding an American flag in its mouth (On my back)

March 11, 2006 – Billie Mae 1920-1999 (Under the turtle)

March 11, 2006 – Morst (On top of my left wrist)

December 22, 2007 – A flower and vines (My right foot)

Psychology
I want to go to school for it. Forensic psychology, mostly.

Music
You name it, I probably like it.

Books
I love reading. I live at Borders and Barns & Noble.

Writing
Not in to it as much as I used to be, but I still journal a lot.

Turtles & Faeries
The turtle is my favorite animal. I had one for a couple of years, but she got sick and ended up dying. For as long as I can remember, I have loved faeries. Of course, Tinkerbell is my favorite.

Starbucks
I go there all of the time. I'm kind of addicted.

Photography
I bought a new camera with some of our wedding money. I love it.

Animals
I work at a vet. I love the job itself. Euthanasias make me kind of sad, but it happens.

A little bit about me

My name is Rebekah, I am 22, and this is me. Nothing more, nothing less. I have my flaws and they have made me into the person I am today. If I could go back and do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing.

Quinten means everything to me. We met in high school. I have been blessed with him since May 5, 2002. We were promised on February 15, 2004. On May 13, 2006 Quinten was home on leave from Iraq. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I said yes. We were married on May 5, 2007 I know that we're both young but we've both been through so much together and I know that we can handle anything. Even though things have been very hard we have stood side by side and we're stronger than ever.

I worked at Southtown vet for about a year. I was laid off in 2006 and it killed me. Shortly after, I was hired at New Haven Pet Hospital. I worked there for a year and a half. I quit in March of 2008 because I couldn't take some of the people any more. It was the BEST move I ever made. I am back at Southtown vet now, as the office manager and it is wonderful.

I would love to go to school for Forensic Psychology. However, a more realistic goal (for right now) is to go with Business Management - Health Care Administrative. I am currently taking a course with medical assisting.

I joined the Army National Guard on August 10, 2004. On October 5, 2005, I completed the processes of receiving a medical discharge. Quinten is also in the military. He enlisted sometime in June of 2003 with the Army Reserve. In November of 2005, Quinten left for Iraq. He was gone for just under a year. On October 18, 2006 he came home for good. He reenlisted in June of 2008, and I am okay with that.

I don't care what you think of me. I love who I am today.
